Amazing Views and Incredible Hosts
I spent two nights at this lovely spot with breathtaking views of the lake and Flores Island. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, greeting me with homemade dinner and ensuring I had everything I needed for my stay, including organizing my trip to Tikal. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, featuring fresh local dishes. However, the wifi was occasionally slow, which could use improvement.

A Memorable Retreat with Family Vibes
Our stay was a pleasant surprise! The boat ride was adventurous, and the staff welcomed us warmly. Breakfasts featuring local fare were delightful, and our spacious family room eased our worries. Don’t forget to enjoy free coffee in the mornings—it’s a nice touch!

Zapote Tree Inn had a stunning view that really made my stay special. The comfortable room was nicely arranged with good beds and nice shower, perfect after an adventure at Tikal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Peter, who provided great insights about the area. I really appreciated the delicious breakfasts served each morning, especially the pancakes that made mornings enjoyable. It felt safe for my family. However, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the additional charge for air conditioning felt a tad unexpected, but the warmth of the place made up for it. Accessibility can be tricky at times, given that you need to take a boat to get there and returning in the evening can be a hassle, especially in rainy conditions.

Great vibes and comfy stay
Just spent 4 nights here, and it was a blast! The rooms are super cozy and clean. We really loved chilling on the terrace with cold beers and good food. Plus, Peter helped us book a last-minute Tikal tour, which was awesome. The only thing is the location isn't in town, so be ready for boat rides to get around.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for adventure
My friends and I had the absolute best time. Peter went out of his way to pick us up after a long day. The views were insane with all those lush trees and birds everywhere. We enjoyed an very nice meal just after we got there, seriously like nothing we had ever tasted before.
It wasn't exactly low-cost but totally worth it in the end.
